Water Heater Give Away

Carter’s My Plumber is Asking for Nominations to Give Away a Water Heater to a Local Family in Need this Holiday Season!

Carter’s My Plumber is giving away a new water heater to a family in need during this holiday season.  The Carter’s are very involved in their community, and it is their desire to support others in times of need.  They have decided to give away a water heater, along with the installation this holiday season as one way of giving back to their community.

Carter’s My Plumber is giving away a new water heater along with the installation to a family in need during this holiday season.  The Carter’s will take applications from their website from November 30 – December 15th.   The water heater type, gas or electric will be based on the recipient’s home installation necessitation.  This will be a 50 gallon tank model.  All nominations should be based on a family in a situation where they are unable to afford a new hot water heater, and have a faulty one.  All nominations should be from the Johnson and Marion County area.  Privacy is very important, and we will not sell, rent or give any names, address or email information to anyone.  We will announce the winner on Monday, December 16th and the work will be completed before December 24th, 2013.  We will announce the recipient on our website, and Facebook page. We will contact the recipient to make arrangements for the installation.

Passion to Help the Community.

Carter’s My Plumber is active in their community.   This past summer they volunteered regularly at Wheeler Mission to serve the Homeless.  They provided financial support to the David Grohe foundation.  They provide plumbing support for the Johnson County Homeless Shelter.  They recently gave a donation to a local Greenwood family to support the husband/father who is struggling from Lu Gerig’s disease.  The Carter’s gave financial support to various organizations this past year including Water.org to provide safe water to 3rd world countries, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for Light the Night in Indianapolis, and to the Stand Up 2 Cancer organization to find a cure for cancer, and in honor of Jamie Carter who is a 10 year cancer survivor.

Jamie, Lisa & Kelson Carter have a heart to serve others:

The Carter’s have a heart to serve others.  The value of hot water is a priceless commodity, and the Carter’s would like to provide a water heater for a family who needs a water heater but is unable to afford one.  This will include all of the necessary parts, and labor to install the heater.  They will remove the old heater and properly dispose of it.
